The Red Coat is a beautifully restored century home, circa 1901, nestled along the Niagara Escarpment, just a short drive down the beautiful Niagara River Parkway in charming historic village of Queenston. Featuring three luxuriously appointed rooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and high speed wireless internet. A guest lounge is available on the main floor and gourmet breakfasts are served in our lovely dining room with Niagara's best seasonal fruits and fresh baked goods. Choose to relax, dine or meet guests on one of the large porches with a view of the Niagara River.
The Red Coat, located within the township of Niagara on the Lake, is centrally located between Shaw Theatres, shops, golf courses, Fallsview Casino, and Niagara Falls. Follow the Niagara Wine Trail to over thirty estate wineries offering tours and wine tasting. If you enjoy the outdoors, hike, jog, or bike along one of the many trails including the Bruce Trail which begins at the base of our driveway!
Our property, like Niagara on the Lake, is rich in history and situated on the grounds of one of the important battles in Canadian history, the war of 1812. Our home is within walking distance to many National Historic sites including: Laura Secord’s Homestead, The Mackenzie Printery and The Brock Monument situated in the beautiful Queenston Heights Park.
Your hosts, Sandra and Keith, grew up in the Niagara area and are keenly aware of what it has to offer. We take great pleasure in meeting new guests, suggesting ways to explore our region, and making your stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. We’re just a phone call away…
